## How Nova works

- Brings in context from calls (recorded in the Nova Mac app or imported from Granola and Fireflies) and connected tools (Google, Linear, GitHub, Tally); the rest of the catalogue is listed at https://trynova.io/integrations/
- Tracks open work: what was agreed, what is moving, what has stalled, with the source conversation, people, and documents connected to each item
- Reconciles instead of appending: new information creates, updated information updates, related information links. One deduplicated item instead of five copies
- Proposes actions for human approval, such as creating one parent issue with sub-issues in your tracker from feedback scattered across channels. It never writes to your tools without a person approving, either each action or in advance (Always allow, or a routine they set up)
- Exposes its workspace surface to AI clients through an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server

## What Nova is not

- Not a replacement for the tools your team uses: they stay, Nova connects them
- Not a fully autonomous system: a person approves external actions, each time or in advance
